We offer the support of an Animal Park veterinarian to ensure the euthanasia process is carried out properly and with compassion.
We provide comprehensive assistance during the difficult moments of saying goodbye to your beloved pet. Our service includes the organization of home visits in selected cities, allowing euthanasia and cremation to take place in a calm, familiar environment that ensures dignity and peace.
Important questions to consider before making a decision:
- • Is your pet still able to enjoy life?
- • Can they eat, walk, urinate, and defecate normally?
- • Are they in significant pain?
- • What treatment options are available, and will your pet live comfortably after rehabilitation?
Remember, no one knows your pet better than you. Spend some time together and try to understand what they might be trying to “tell” you.
Why choose our service?
- • Comfort of a familiar environment: Euthanasia at home greatly reduces the stress experienced by your pet. At this moment, animals often sense what is happening. Saying goodbye in their own space, with time, care, and attention, helps ease their stress and provides comfort.
- • Combined service: Following euthanasia, we offer cremation with the option of either individual or communal cremation.
- • Emotional support: We are here to answer your questions and help guide you in making informed and compassionate decisions.
How does home euthanasia for dogs and cats work? Euthanasia is performed in two stages:
- • Sedation: A calming medication is administered to gently induce a deep, peaceful sleep.
- • Final injection: A second intravenous medication is given that relaxes the muscles and stops the heart in a pain-free manner.
After the procedure, the veterinarian will respectfully prepare your pet’s body according to sanitary standards and attach an identification band, which remains with your pet until the cremation is complete.
Our mission is to provide a dignified farewell and compassionate support during this emotional time.
